Gleeson Clinic is registered with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), allowing us to perform chiropractic care for WSIB cases.

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is an agency of the Ontario provincial government dedicated to the prevention of all workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities. The WSIB oversees Ontario's workplace safety education and training system and administers Ontario's no-fault workplace insurance for employers and their workers.

Were you injured at work? Then the cost of your treatments may be fully covered by WSIB (workers' compensation).

At our office, we will help guide you through the whole WSIB process. If your claim is accepted, we'll start you on a thorough rehabilitation program to get you back in shape. If your claim is rejected, we will make alternate arrangements with you for your care.

What is the WSIB and will my claim be accepted?

The Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), formerly known as the Workers' Compensation Board (WCB), covers the full cost of chiropractic care in Ontario if all of the following is TRUE:

  1. You were injured at work.

  2. You reported your injury to your employer (without undue delay).

  3. You and your employer will file an injury report with the WSIB.

  4. This is a new injury.

  5. You have not gone to your family physician or another clinic more than one time  for this same injury.

  6. Your workplace is registered with WSIB and you were not injured in self-employed work.

Some other conditions and restrictions may apply.

Call us at 807-623-5531 if you have any questions about your situation.
